Quiet Saturday

Today I hung out and home with mom and dad.  Mom has been trying to work on decorations for my birthday.  Dad has been working on our yard.  At the end of the day, I love to read stories.  My very favorite thing is still the bath.

Hurry up with that bath water!

New Dress

Remember I said Daddy picked me out a couple of things.  Well, the other one was this dress.  I love it....but I'm sad that he's not home to see me wear it today.  It's ok.  Mommy will send him a picture.

One Fish Two Fish

So yesterday we went shopping and daddy picked me out a couple of things.  I got this awesome shirt that's a rhyme by some Dr. Seuss guy. Mom says his books are great!  I've only read one so far.  Anyway, I'm still in love with my toy phone.  Mom says phones used to have a turn dial like that....but i haven't seen one.  I like her cell phone though.  Whenever we talk to daddy on speaker phone I steal it away and push buttons.  I even changed the front picture on mom's cell.  Wasn't that sweet of me?

Doing Laundry

Mommy said it was time to wash my clothes and I really wanted to help.

11 Months Old

So I'm a short month away from being a year old.  Mommy is in complete denial and disbelief and wonders where the year has gone.  I'm up to five teeth now.  I crawl like a maniac.  I sneak into the areas that are blocked off.  I am now wearing size three shoes and will most likely be wearing the size 2s you see in this picture for the last time.  Bummer.  They're super cute!

Baby Pool

Mommy says that Daddy left a bunch of big messes around the house for her to clean up when he left for work this week.  Lucky for Mommy (and for me), Granny Lala came over so we could play and Mommy could clean.  I got to play in my baby pool outside.  I love playing in the water.

Beach Day

Yesterday I got to go to the beach with Daddy.  It was the first day it was sunny and warm enough to go to the beach.  Mommy was really bummed that she had to work and didn't get to go.  I had a lot of fun.  I got to play in the sand.  I really like sand.  The water was very cold so I only put my feet in it.

Super Cheese!

So, Mom says I'm a cheeseball.  I don't know what she's talking about, but I sure do like to smile big when she brings out that camera :)

I am absolutely fascinated with the handles on my dresser drawer!  They're like knockers - how fun!

Busted!

I got in trouble today.  See, I like to slide open that glass door on the entertainment center and play with the cable box.   It's fun to push the buttons.  I even programmed the DVR to record the spanish channel.  Mom thinks I must want to learn to speak spanish.  Hola Dora!

Monkeying Around

So here we are again showing off more cool pajamas.  They say No More Monkeys Jumping On The Bed.  Mom thinks I'm gonna jump on the bed like a monkey someday because I love to bounce up and down!  What's wrong with that?  I think the monkeys should jump on the bed as much as they want.  Jumping is fun.  Mom wishes they had these in her size because they're cozy.  Here I am monkeying around...

Mmmm Beer!

So this teething business is kind of painful.  I really like cold things on my gums.  Daddy happened to pick me up right after he pulled his beer bottle out of the freezer.  Boy did that bottle feel good on my gums...but he wouldn't let me taste the beer.  I guess I'll have to wait until I'm older.
