I have teeth! Two of them, in fact. My babysitter Laura noticed today that my two bottom teeth have finally cut through. Mommy looks in my mouth every morning to check, but she usually doesn't stick her finger in to feel because it makes me upset. Well, Laura did stick in her finger and found out that my teeth have finally poked through! I officially have chompers now! You can't quite see them yet because they're toward the back of the gums still and I tend to stick my tongue out when I open my mouth. Woohoo! Hooray for my new grill :)'
....ok so it took a while for mommy to get around to taking pictures and now I have four! woohoo! Bring on the good food!!

At the park again
So, I'm loving this new bike trailer thingie. It's like I have my very own chariot! We went to the park again. Mom made sure we sat in a grassy area where there weren't any leaves for me to eat. I played on the swing, tried out the slide (but didn't like it), and then ate some dinner. I hope we do this all the time now. Here's me and my silly daddy on the swings.

Father's Day
Daddy got his real present today...a cool bike trailer for me to sit in so he and mommy can go bike riding with me. I know that sounds more like a present for me, but he's been eyeballing bike trailers for months because he really loves to ride bikes. Mommy says she doesn't like to that much because she's clumsy and worries that she will fall. Anyway, here's our first test drive....
Then we went to the park and hung out. I tried to eat a leaf. It didn't taste good. Mommy made me spit it out.

Present for Daddy
Tomorrow is Father's Day. It's mine and Daddy's very first one. Mommy made him a special present to remind him of how much I've grown. My daddy and I have lots of fun together and he's just the coolest! So, here's his present that Mommy and I made for him for Father's day.

10 Months Old
I'm getting old! Ok, maybe not by grownup standards, but I'm becoming a big girl. I've done a lot of new things lately, including pulling myself up, starting to cruise a little (that means i try to walk along while I hang onto things), and crawling the right way. Still no teeth yet but mom thinks they'll be coming very soon. I keep chewing on my hands and getting fussy at night because my gums hurt. I've also started shaking my head "no" when i don't want to do something. Mommy's not too happy about that one. Anyway, here's my ten month pictures. We like the hula monkey. Can you tell?

Ballerina Jammies
My grandma got me some pretty pink ballerina pajamas for Easter. They fit great now! I wore them especially for her with my ballerina socks since she's coming over to visit me.

My second earthquake
Last night while I was trying to go to sleep, the earth shook a little and dad came running in to scoop me out of bed! It was my second earthquake so far. The first one was back on Easter while we were at the Wild Animal Park. Anyway, I didn't want to go back to sleep after that. I finally did sleep, but not very well. Here's a picture of me grumpy the next day from not sleeping enough. Oh well.

Chamorro girls eat ribs
My daddy makes a mean barbecue. He cooked up some ribs and tri-tip today and I got to gnaw on some ribs! They were yummy!!! Plus, it felt good on my gums. I've had swollen gums for several days and drooling like a faucet. I gnaw on my hands a lot, but still no teeth!!!

Crawling, boating, and more fun!
As of yesterday, I officially crawl the right way! I'm not very fast yet (mom thinks that's a good thing), but I am doing it correctly.
Today was a beautiful day and mom wanted to go for a walk at the bay. Daddy and I joined her and walked two miles. Then, we spotted some boat rentals and went on a paddle boat. I don't know why they call it a paddle boat when you don't use paddles, you actually pedal it with your feet! Of course, we didn't use MY feet because my legs don't reach and I'm way too small for that. However, I got to wear a snazzy life jacket and stick my feet in the water. That was fun!!!
Here I am in my life jacket :)

Later on we went to my friend Isabella's house. Mommy and Daddy have friends with her parents since before they got married. They all got married and then had babies at around the same times. Isn't that funny? Anyway, Isabella and I didn't plan this matching outfit thing, but I think it worked out nicely. It seemed that each of us wants to play with the same toy at the same time even though there were plenty of toys for the both of us. Mom says we have to learn how to share.

Time to move the mattress
As of this week, I've been going to bed much earlier. Until now, I've refused to go to bed before 10pm because it's fun to stay up late with mom and dad. Since we've been doing sleep training (they let me fuss a little and then I just fall asleep like a big girl), I've decided I'd rather go to bed at 8:30. Well, yesterday I was having so much fun (as you can see in the picture) I didn't want to go to bed at my usual 8:30. I cried and cried for 35 minutes! When mom came to check on me for the fifth time, I had pulled myself up in my crib and was standing there crying. Mom said it really scared her because my mattress was so high up that I could have fallen out of my crib. So I got to sleep in mom's bed and cuddle - score! She says we'll wait until Daddy comes home on Saturday to move the mattress down.
See? I'm having way too much fun to go to bed!

Army Crawl
As of yesterday, I am an official Army Crawler now! I don't really like doing it. I cry the entire time I'm moving. Mom thinks I get frustrated because I can't get to where I want to go fast enough. Today I started pulling myself up on things all by myself. Mom and Dad are so proud! Oh, and I discovered that it's really fun to blow raspberries. Lots of fun new things are happening for me.
Check out my whale pajamas. My grandma got them for me because they match my whale ponytail. Plus they say "I whaley love you" so they're cool.
Here I am...not happy about army crawling.
